Waymart is a borough in Wayne County with a population of 1,341 at the time of the 2010 United States Census. Although Waymart is only 2.8 square miles, it is home to the famed Waymart Hotel as well as several other local favorites.  The Waymart Hotel is a local favorite founded in 1848. What began as a saloon and place of lodging has transitioned through the years to become a local haunt for great food, great atmosphere, and great entertainment. Waymart is in the Western Wayne School District.
